I have to admit that I am completely jealous of Belly Up ticketholders tonight. Arlo Guthrie is a living legend, and in these political times, he's a protesting voice that we should all rally around. At the Casbah there is a solid local lineup with Small Culture, the Heart Beat Trail, and Headphone -- whom we haven't heard from in awhile. Meanwhile, the Slants (the all-Asian dance-rock band who have stirred up quite a controversy with their band name) play at Soda Bar, while Mac Sabbath and Metalachi co-headline Brick By Brick.
