The Scripps Ranch Civic Association is throwing down the red carpet and issuing a countywide invitation to grab your blanket and the family and come-on-down to their annual community fair and concert in the park on Sunday from noon to 7:30 p.m..
The event is being billed as the "all-time greatest family-fun day" ever, with free pony rides, face painters, jumpies, slides and tons more activities specifically suited for kids of all ages. In addition there will be daytime music from the Bayou Brothers, and then, at 6 o'clock, a popular local groups Eve Selis and her Band, takes over center state; and yes, there is a dance floor, so come ready to boogie.
There will also be lots of good food, including a carne asada buffet and even Belgian crepes. It all starts at noon at the Scripps Ranch Community Park, 11454 Blue Cypress Drive.
