San Diego loves its reggae, so it's no surprise that two of the genre's biggest local stars -- Hirie and Slightly Stoopid -- have teamed up for a new single called "I Like the Way You Roll."
Released a couple of days ago, the new track is part of Hirie's new "Dreamer" album rollout. "Dreamer," by the way, drops on Sept. 13.
Both Hirie and also Slightly Stoopid have received a considerable amount of love from the San Diego Music Awards over the years, so there's a safe bet this song and album combo have a good shot at getting the nod for next year's ceremony.
Hirie isn't shy about the double entendre couched in "I Like the Way You Roll," so if that's your vibe, it's definitely going to light up your day.
The track is available now on all major streaming platforms, and we've included it here for your convenient enjoyment.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the joint Hirie and Slightly Stoopid tour is coming through San Diego any time soon, but who knows, that could easily change.
