No Doubt plays Chula Vista’s amphitheatre Friday to a packed crowd. If you didn’t get tickets early enough, you can grab seats for the second show added just a few weeks ago. Tickets are on sale for an August 8 show.
The group, which just appeared on Ellen Tuesday as part of its reunion tour (where hundreds of fans were reportedly denied entrance), is taking advantage of the publicity and popularity of this tour to raise money for charity.
You can bid on a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the band. The VIP package includes four tickets either in the pit or premium seat (your choice) and a meeting backstage with the band before the concert. They’ll even throw in a photo of the face-to-face for your wall.
The charities that will benefit from the auctions include ALS Orange County chapter, Doctors Without Borders, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and charity:water.
The San Diego auction is live but there are 16 auctions total. Each wave of auctions benefits a different charity.
If the VIP package auction is a little too steep for your checking account, you can still get a valuable momento from the No Doubt reunion tour.
In addition to the new line of No Doubt T-shirts and stuff, each show will also feature a limited edition commemorative poster of the tour date.
