Carmel Valley's long-awaited One Paseo, a mixed-use development featuring shops, restaurants, apartments, offices and public spaces, has announced its first four retail tenants.
SoulCycle, a popular indoor cycling studio, Whiskey x Leather, an antique and accessory specialty shop, West of Camden, a men and women's clothing and soft goods retail store, and Van De Vort, an upscale Del Mar women's boutique, will be at the new development.
The shops are scheduled to open early 2019. Developers plan to announce more tenants in the coming months to round out the shopping and restaurant complex.
The retailers join the previously-announced culinary lineup coming to One Paseo: Smoke, Tocaya Organica, Sweetfin Poké, Ways & Means Oyster House, Shake Shack, Parakeet Café, Tender Greens, Joe & The Juice, The Butchery and North Italia.
Van De Vort's Andrea Van De Vort said a spot at One Paseo was a classic next step for the Del Mar-based retailer.
“The impressive tenant lineup is comprised of ideal businesses that we look forward to sitting next to and collaborating with," Van De Vort said in a statement. "We are excited to grow our brand even more as we serve both the local customer and new customers traveling from afar to visit the many big-name restaurants, micro-fitness and retail concepts signed on at One Paseo.”
West of Camden, a Huntington Beach-based business, is a collaboration between a husband and wife team with backgrounds in design, art and apparel.

Ariel Hujer, co-founder of Whiskey x Leather, said the company is ready to expand to One Paseo.
"Eclectic beach town vibes were what we were looking for in our next adventure; San Diego was just the place! One Paseo was the perfect home for the next store," Hujer said.
New York-based SoulCycle's location at One Paseo will be their second location (the first is located at UTC Westfield). Each class is $28.
