It's another day loaded with great events all over San Diego, but unlike yesterday, I'll be opting for some air conditioning. During the day, you can do the same by supporting locals Well Well Well and Bruin, who've been on a West Coast tour. As the day sun burns off, head to the strand, where Loews is once again hosting Bay Sessions featuring the Redwoods. The event is totally free, including parking, and all ages, too. Most locals don't have much occasion to check out the resort, so this is a great chance to see the beautiful view and their awesome open bayfront deck. Around town, Shawn Colvin plays an intimate show at the Belly Up, Sundrop Electric return to the Casbah and Giraffes? Giraffes! headline Soda Bar.
