Greg Bledsoe is the weekday evening meteorologist for NBC 7. He’s been in the NBC family for more than 20 years starting with NBC 7 in 2001 as a writer. Over the past 20+ years, he has also worked as a producer, photographer, field reporter, morning anchor, and now meteorologist.
In addition to weather, Greg has a passion for storytelling. He is a 24 time Emmy winner and twice named the National Solo Video journalist of the year by the National Press Photographer’s association.
When he isn’t forecasting San Diego’s weather, Bledsoe is a husband and father of two kids. In 2021, the Bledsoe family embarked on a one-year road trip to 48 U.S. states telling stories for NBC’s Lx network along the way. After an amazing adventure, they’re happy to call San Diego home again, and to be back at NBC 7.
