When the dust settled on a thrilling 11-10, come-from-behind victory, a sea of baby blue t-shirts exploded in the stands, fans jumping up and down to celebrate a win by Park View in the Little League World Series. Exciting may be an understatement: The boys from Chula Vista won a nail-biter over the team from Georgia to advance to the United States Championship game on Saturday.

"I lost my voice from screaming and yelling," said Parkview player Andy Rios.

The boys from Park View Little League in Chula Vista edged out Warner Robins.  They had been down 10 to 5 in the fifth inning.

The game Thursday night was against the undefeated team from Robbins, Georgia. It was the first elimination game, meaning the losing team is out of the tournament's championship bracket.

Georgia coach Randy Jones said this Parkview team may be the best he's ever seen.  He said pitcher Kiko Garcia one of the biggest reasons.

"Wow, that feels great," Garcia said. "I never though someone would say that about me, but I'm happy to hear that."

Parkview now moves on to the U.S. championship game on Saturday against San Antonio, Texas. That game will be played at noon PT.

The Chula Vista team has won three and lost one so far. Their one loss came against Texas on Tuesday. Other than that game, the team has gained a reputation as the big bats of the tournament by hitting more home runs than any other team.

Coach Ric Ramirez said he's looking forward to a rematch with Texas.

After Thursday night's game, Chula Vista won a coin toss with Texas, and chose to be the home team on Saturday.

Back home in Chula Vista, and around San Diego County there has been huge support for the team.

Coach Ramirez said it means a lot to them to know there's so much support back home.

"The joy for me is them having a good time back home watching the games, getting together with family and that kind of thing," said Ramirez.

He said the players have really grown up over the past month, and it's something they will always remember.
