Several Southern states are facing the threat of severe storms, including possible tornadoes, through Monday night, according to The Weather Channel. Four thousand customers without power mostly located in the Birmingham area and more than 1500 are in Mississippi. A storm packing strong winds was believed to have swept away a 9-year-old girl in Mississippi. Seven people were injured from a tornado in the state's Covington County, according to the state emergency management agency.
