A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Linda Vista Friday.
According to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD), a man in his 50s was riding a bike eastbound in the 2200 block of Morley Street just after 2:45 p.m. when he ran a stop sign and was struck by a driver.
The driver did not stop, leaving the injured bicyclist behind. The driver was last seen heading southbound on Comstock Street, police said.
The SDPD said the hit-and-run suspect's car was described as a white or grey Toyota sedan with a broken windshield. The driver was described as being in his 20s, with short hair.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, including a broken leg. He was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital. The incident is under investigation.
No one else was injured.
