Firefighters discovered bullet holes and gun casings near the site of a vehicle fire in Bay Park early Monday.
San Diego police and fire crews responded to reports of a truck burning along East Mission Bay and Clairemont Drive just after 2 a.m.
When they arrived they saw a truck burning and found gun shell casings around the vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
San Diego police are still investigating the incident.
