At least three people were injured Monday in a multiple-vehicle crash involving an overturned bus on southbound Interstate 5, according to California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers and San Diego Fire-Rescue crews responded the charter bus collided with several vehicles at 10:30 p.m. near the merge between I-5 and Interstate 805.
The driver, who was alone in the bus at the time of the crash, was taken to Scripps La Jolla with minor injuries.
Two people in another car were both able to walk away from the crash.
Multiple southbound lanes were closed during the investigation but were reopened in time for the morning commute.
