A water main break in Pacific Beach today is leaving dozens of customers without water service.
A six-inch diameter, cast-iron water main broke at about 12:35 p.m. on Del Rey Street. About 47 people on the 3400-3500 blocks are affected.
Police is on the scene after responding to a report of water coming out of a manhole cover. They are providing traffic control, and no evacuations have been issued.
Water department crews are responding and service is expected to be restored to all customers by 9 p.m.
