Police are investigating the potentially suspicious disappearance of an Oceanside woman who was last seen at a North County restaurant more than one week ago.
According to police, 54-year-old Marlane Koue was last seen at Pizza Port in Carlsbad around 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 1.
Since then, officials said Koue has not returned to her home in the 1200 block of Larchwood Drive or communicated with her family.
Investigators said her family is extremely concerned because Koue typically calls her daughter on a daily basis. Also, there has been no activity on her cell phone or bank accounts since her disappearance.
Koue’s family first reported her missing on Oct. 4. She is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She’s 5-foot-5 and weighs 160-pounds.
Police said Koue was last seen driving her beige 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan with the California license plate number 4SHU678.
Investigators said Koue is married but currently separated from her husband. She lives with a roommate on Larchwood Drive.

Police said her husband has been interviewed and is cooperating with the investigation.
At this point there is no evidence of foul play, nor has a suspect been named in Koue’s disappearance.
Her family told police it is out of character for Koue to drop off like this for an extended period of time without contacting her family. The lack of activity on her cell phone and bank records has made the case suspicious, police said.
Anyone with information regarding Koue’s whereabouts is urged to call Oceanside Police Detective Sgt. Matt Christensen at (760) 435-4639 or the Oceanside Police Department Communication Center at (760) 435-4911.
