NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 Float Rocks San Diego Pride Festival

The float featured music and talent from both stations

If you were at the San Diego Pride parade Saturday in Hillcrest, you might have seen a giant float for NBC 7 and Telemundo 20.

The float featured a full DJ booth playing music for the crowd and was decked out with colorful decorations.

NBC 7 talent waved to the crowd, like Alex Presha, Bridget Naso, Liberty Zabala, Wendy Fry, Danielle Radin, Melissa Adan, Joe Little and Omari Fleming.

From the Telemundo 20 team, the crowd might have recognized Melissa Sandoval and Rigo Villalobos.

About a quarter-million people are expected this year during the 44th Annual San Diego Pride Festival, a three-day celebration of the city's LGBT community.

The entire festival creates jobs and contributes millions of dollars to the city's infrastructure, the mayor said.

The festival also saw a 65 percent rise in ticket sales from last year. Organizers said one of the reasons for the uptick is growing acceptance within Latino families and the Hispanic community.

Organizers added they are also seeing a large turnout from people living in Tijuana coming into town to celebrate.
