A Mission Valley restaurant was forced to temporarily shut down Sunday afternoon after an electric fire sparked inside the eatery.
At around 1:15 p.m., firefighters responding to a vehicle fire right next to the Gordon-Biersch Brewery Restaurant in Mission Valley were called to another fire that broke out inside the eatery.
Crews were able to knock out the electrical fire within about 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.
Restaurant employees told NBC 7 the business would be closed for the rest of the day.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation. Officials have not yet determined the cost of damages.
