A semi truck carrying dairy products has caught fire alongside southbound Interstate 805 and has caused brush to catch fire, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened around 8:40 a.m. near the Mira Mesa Road exit.
Dairy product leaked on the road, according to officials. It is unknown how much spilled on the street.
The driver of the truck said he transports powdered milk and the entire shipment was destroyed in the fire.
Fire crews extinguished the flames and all lanes are reopen.
