U.S. Border Patrol arrested 15 undocumented immigrants and suspected smugglers on a sailboat as they pulled into the San Diego area.
Sunday evening, agents moved in on the boat as it docked at Harbor Island. Officials say six of the people onboard entered the U.S. illegally.
The nine others on the boat are suspected of participating in smuggling. All were arrested.
The suspects were processed at a Border Patrol station and booked into the Metropolitan Correctional Center. They all face multiple federal charges.
