She was never one of the popular kids back in high school, but Susan Boyle will sing with the young stars on "Glee."
The"Britain's Got Talent" phenom will appear as a lunch lady in the hit Fox show's Season 2 holiday episode. Creator Ryan Murphy had been after the matronly songstress since earlier this year, accoridng to Entertainment Weekly.
In appearing on the hit show, Boyle will follow in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Javier Bardem and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Boyle, who has an album coming out on Nov. 8, recently told Oprah Winfrey of how she was picked on as a kid.
"That is the physical, but the more hurtful is the psychological," Boyle said. "Name-calling. Really repeating name-calling. It made me feel as if nobody loved me. I didn't really matter. I was just a target. Once you give bullies that power, they've really got a hold on you."
