Sounds Like San Diego: March 24

Andrew McMahon might be playing Kaaboo, but that won't match the intimacy of his House of Blues show

Kaaboo announced their Del Mar lineup this week, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness is included, but tonight, you can head to the House of Blues and get a full length and more intimate set with their headlining slot -- not that I'm knocking the festival experience, but an artist can obviously go a whole lot deeper with their catalog for the true and deep fans. At the Casbah, the Arkells are back with a nearly sold out show, so if you're thinking about it, get your tickets this morning or they could be gone. The same is true for folk singer Ayla Nereo, who is playing at Soda Bar. Brazilian "King of Latin Music" Robert Carlos is at the Open Air Theatre; Veronica Swift plays at the Scripps Ranch Insitute; and legends Earth, Wind & Fire make a stop at Pechanga Casino in Temecula.
