Holiday window visuals date back to the late 19th century, and have long drawn visitors to department stores for the free entertainment value, but this year retailers are stepping up the tradition with technology. LCD screens, 3-D projections and animatronics are just part of the magic in Saks Fifth Avenue’ 2010 holiday windows. Window director Julio Gomez walks us through the display.
